While this virus has not impacted our area, there are great resources available for parents and community members to learn about the virus symptoms, preventative measures and current confirmed cases.

The district has been monitoring the weather forecast for severe weather that could impact our area beginning late this afternoon into early morning hours tomorrow. Based on this forecast changes to the school day have been determined with the safety of our students, parents and employees in mind.

At the February 18 school board meeting, the board approved the recommendation by the administration to lease two custom built learning cottages to accommodate the large rising sixth grade class at Banks Trail Middle School for the 2020–2021 school year.

At the February 5 school board meeting, the district administration announced that due to unforeseen issues and poor weather condition throughout construction, and despite every effort to correct these delays, the opening of River Trail Elementary School will be delayed.
